Congrats to Manda on job... Well done!

Spoke to Manda today, 10.30pm Canuck time. She has a job supervising the gym & pool area of a spa. Her shift finishes at 11pm, but a bus goes into the resort and picks her up at the door, then Matt meets her at the bus stop ( this bit is for the grandparents so they don't get worried ). She is really happy there, but has a better position coming up as a concierge at a Health Spa very soon.

Apparently while she was working today it started to snow, she loved it as she hadn't seen snow before. But, she has discovered a horrid fact she did not expect..... the Chocolate in Canada is not very nice ..hmmmmmmm.

She sends her love to all.

Amanda vs Tunnel Mountain

We should have internet set up in the next week or so so i can be in contact alot more often and inundate everyone with photo's!

 
We hiked up Tunnel mountain today! Very hard with the altitude, as your breathing feels restricted but once you make it up it's simply breath taking.

Matt had to work so he missed out but Stace Brods and i managed to defeat the mountain. And had a celebratory glass (or two) of wine once we made it.

We are eating like kings we had a roast the first night and burito's last night before setting out to a great irish pub, tonight is lasagne

Oh we request your amazing recipe for paella and aoli i've been raving on about your cooking oh and alfajores wouldn't hurt either :)
 
We have been checking out rumage sales and garage sales for nifty things for the house, it's soo much fun! we got these awesome brass salt and pepper shakers and a boom box haha. Embarrassing but when your boyfriend walks around town with it on his shoulder! priceless. Stace and i kept about a metre behind the guys for that one.
